With reference to my Despatchs of the 30th of January last, I have the honour to forward Copies of further correspondence which has passed between Government of Hongkong and the Honorable Major General D'Aguilar, on the subject of a Police Corps for this Colony.
I beg to be instructed whether Bounty Money paid to the Volunteers from Her Majesty's Regiment is to remain as a Civil Charge, or to be transferred to Military.
